Use the List: Operator in Gmail to Search for Messages To and From an Address
Seancron shares a lesser-known Gmail operator:
You can use the
list:
operator in gmail to search for and filter messages on mailing lists.Example:
list:info@example.com
will find all messages sent to and from the mailing list.Combined with the “Mark as not important filter option” and your priority inbox will be much cleaner.
Note that this actually works for any email address. Thus, if you want to search for all messages to and from your friend bob@example.com, you could use the list:
operator to do so.
